Who doesn’t like free?
I mean let’s face it, with all the money we spend on stuff we don’t really need, wouldn’t it be cool to get stuff that we want without having to pay for it?
Well, the truth is, there is a ton of free stuff to be had out there. As long as you know what to look for and how to play the “free” game, then you can come out with some pretty cool things!
The main thing to keep in mind is this:
Look for the privacy policy on the website before you sign up to receive anything free. The downside to getting free stuff is when your e-mail and snail mail address get sold to others for marketing purposes. When that happens, you can wind up with a ton of spam e-mail and junk mail. The way to avoid this is to only sign up for free stuff where the privacy policy says your e-mail and address will only be used to send you that company’s free item(s), and will not be sold to anyone else. That way you’re in the clear.
